READIN

Jeremy's journal

I have enough trouble as it is in trying to say what I think I know.

Magic Dreams

the strangest dreams, the ones
that one cannot recall
(that one has never been able to recall,
that one isn't trying to recall), it's these very
undescribable dreams
that make up the archetypes
in the imagination
confusing themselves
to the point of creating an image of the world
which one conceives, perceives;
which one carries in one's footsteps
day by day:
as long as you're moving
your still alive.

It's really not possible
to describe them, not not in human
terms

Tarca

back in those days the maestro de Tarca
was telling us the right thing, the proper thing would be
to listen
that he had something important
for us
to understand
and indeed we listened
some of us understood
others didn't really pay attention

he told us you shouldn't be a sailor
if you want to leave a path behind you

that human footprints are like
wake on the sea

and he gave us his
blessings
for the catch
